Primary Day Finds Two Former Aldermen Squaring Off, Several Legislature and Supervisor Primaries

LeClair is a native Fultonian, and lives at 509 Pratt Street. She has three adult children, seven grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is an active member of several community organizations. LeClair recently retired from the Oswego County Weeklies so she can devote more time and energy serving the people of Fulton and the greater Oswego County residents.
Peter Franco has announced his candidacy for Alderman of Fulton’s Third Ward. He is a Democrat and has been endorsed by the Fulton Democratic Committee.
Peter is a retired police officer from the Fulton Police Department. He retired in 2005 after serving for 27 years. Over the last eight years of his career, he served as Deputy Chief of Police.
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand met the officials of Oswego County’s various governments Friday afternoon for a brief give-and-take on economic issues that produced offers to help bring more money to the area.
Their message, whether the issue was stimulus funding, farming or a new nuclear plant, was simple: We need money.
