In one of the more unique “ribbon cutting” ceremonies, two huge dump trucks today (Sept. 20) poured tons of clay on the front stretch of the Oswego Speedway. Even though the clay hadn’t been placed on the front stretch until today’s official “dumping of the clay,” the remainder of the track had its first layers of the new surface laid down recently; while outside the track work continues on new camping areas.
With ten to go, Perley was reeling in Graham and by lap 44, the 11 was in the lead, but Graham wasn’t giving up and Perley knew it. It was survival of the fittest to the checkered.

Bresnahan took the lead at the drop of the green in the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature and drove a flawless race out distancing Jimmy Phelps to the checkers. Not only was it Bresnahan’s first win in the division, but it was the first win for the GM CT 525 Spec engine against the Big Block Modifieds.
Kinser had competed at the high-banked 3/8-mile just once in his career prior to this season, finishing second in 2005. He bettered that one spot in the World of Outlaws return to Fulton Speedway on Tuesday night, picking up the win, which was his seventh of the season.
After a three year absence, the World of Outlaws will return to Fulton Speedway in New York this week on Tuesday, August 3 to wrap up the second East Coast swing of the season, which has taken the series to six different tracks in two states and two Canadian Provinces.
Former World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion and current NASCAR star Dave Blaney will be in competition at Fulton Speedway on Tuesday, August 3 in the special World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event. Blaney, the 1995 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion is no stranger to Fulton Speedway as he won an All Star Circuit of Champions race at the track in 1987.

Not many thought just a little over a month ago when a snow storm ripped through Central New York dropping snow that measured in feet on top of what was already on the ground that race cars would hitting Fulton Speedway anytime soon. Mother Nature smiled on us melting the snow and giving us an 80 degree day for open practice on the high banks.
