Scene Around Town: Marathoners Train for Race

Abby Weaver sends us this photo of marathoners training.  She writes: “Training for the Century Marathon, October 11 in Fulton, is a team effort. Local runners Beth Foederer and Sam Familo lead the training runs each Sunday around Fulton. The training schedule includes running 12 miles August 23, 15 miles August 30 and 20 miles the following weekend. The runs are held rain or shine, and often cover part of the marathon course. Call the Fulton YMCA at 598-9622 or email [email protected] for information on the training run meeting time and place.” […]
