State police in Fulton arrested Harry E. Truax, 53, of 39 Hoyt Rd., Pennellville, Wednesday, charging him with second-degree criminal possession of marihuana, a class-D felony. The investigation evolved following a 911 call that Truax placed Oct. 3.
The benefit of additional state aid for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program in Fulton may soon be lost if the district doesn’t receive a few more students. The district has to enroll 162 students by Oct. 1 or cut a refund check to the state for a portion of state aid money received for the 2008-09 school year.
