The hallways are lined with red paper hearts each with a students’ name proudly written on it to signify the Charles E. Riley Elementary School commitment to keeping hearts healthy.
Oswego High School Principal Brian Hartwell is proud to announce the students who earned honor roll recognition for the second quarter of the 2010-2-11 school year.

The Charles E. Riley Elementary School Student Council assisted dancers Jennifer and Brandon Lagoe in the effort to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. The student council spearheaded a drive that brought $176 to benefit the humanitarian effort.

The Oswego High School Music Department has recognized three students as “Musicians of the Month” for January. Recognized for their outstanding talent and contributions were Jacqueline Hondro, Emilie Benigno and Thomas James.

Frederick Leighton Elementary School fifth grade teacher Tom Wiegand has incorporated Skype into his classroom curriculum to take his students on a journey to England.

“Recording Our Future” has been a cooperative effort between the Oswego Middle School, SUNY Oswego’s School of Community, Media and the Arts and Pathfinder Bank.

The Junior High All-County Band recently performed at the John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix. Oswego was well represented at this year’s event.
