Student artworks beautify the Port City’s riverfront. The goal of the project is to cover up the graffiti in the area and offer an artistic outlet for talented area youth.
Seven of the ten Empower Federal Credit Union college scholarship recipients are students from Oswego County. Empower has awarded $7,000 in scholarships to ten high school seniors from the class of 2009, in Oswego, Onondaga, Montgomery, and Erie Counties.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Mike Schroeder introduced Jerrica Dishaw, a G. Ray Bodley high school student who attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program in Cazenovia this past July.
More than 100 SUNY Oswego flooded the farmers’ market Thursday night.
