Oswego Sunrise Rotary’s newest member, Bill Pittsley, gave his classification talk on Thursday. Bill has a desire to help his community, which led him to join Rotary.

Don Todd told Oswego Sunrise Rotary about his new position as Oswego County Court Judge. He has attended training for new judges in White Plains. Since returning to Oswego, he has worked in Oswego County Family Court.

On Thursday, Ginny Stamm told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about her visit with her daughter, Abby, who is working with the Peace Corps in Uganda.

On Thursday, the Oswego Sunrise Rotary met for its last meeting of the year and celebrated Christmas. Music was led by Larry Rapshaw on the piano.

A group of fourth through sixth grade Frederick Leighton Elementary School students created cards for residents of the Sunrise Nursing Home. They personally delivered the holiday greetings.

On Dec. 9, Mercedes Niess, executive director of the H. Lee White Marine Museum, told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about the new programs and exhibits at the museum.
On Dec. 2, Brenda Weissenberg told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about the Foster and Adoptive Parents Association of Oswego County.
On Thursday, Eric Behling told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary about his apple farm. His farm, located in Mexico, produces apples, strawberries, raspberries and various other crops.
On Thursday, Jean Bonhotal, told the Oswego Sunrise Rotary club about large-scale composting.
