CYO Students Learn the Importance of Roadway Safety

<br />Billie Jo Crandall of the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board, pictured above, visited the CYO Summer Program and spoke with children about the rules of the road for bicyclists and pedestrians and spoke of the importance of wearing a seatbelt in a car and safely crossing the street.  A program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, the CYO Summer Recreation Program is offered free of charge to children ages 7 to 13 and is held Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through August 14th.

Students in the CYO Summer Program at Catholic Charities were treated to a special presentation by Billie Jo Crandall of the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board on the importance of roadway safety. Ms. Crandall discussed the rules of the road for bicyclists and pedestrians and spoke of the importance of wearing a seatbelt in a car and safely crossing the street.
