United Way Luncheon To Support Area Food Pantries

Committee members for the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Stone Soup Luncheon recently visited the Pulaski Farmers’ Market to help promote the event. From left are Pat Rossman, with her grandson, Diesel Clark; Brian Leary, owner of Lakeshore Hardwoods; and Lois Luber, resource development director for the United Way.

Food pantries in the Pulaski, Sandy Creek and Lacona area will receive some much needed support as United Way of Greater Oswego County brings its first ever Stone Soup luncheon to Sandy Creek.

It’s Time To Stuff A Bus

Oswego Lions Club Helps United Way Stuff-A-Bus

The Oswego Lions Club recently presented the United Way of Greater Oswego with a check in support of the agency’s Stuff-A-Bus campaign. In front from left are: Teresa Ross of the Central Square School District; Helen Hoefer of Catholic Charities of Oswego County; Cathy Smith of the Hannibal School District; and Aimee Goulette of Oswego County Opportunities. Standing from left are: Morgan Mears of the United Way; Executive Director of the United Way Melanie Trexler; coordinator of the Stuff-A-Bus campaign, Jo Ann Conzone of the Oswego City School District; and Mike Henderson of the Oswego Lions Club.

The United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Stuff-A-Bus Campaign received some much welcomed support recently when the Oswego Lions Club made a donation of $500.
