Heat, humidity and maybe some showers today.
The heat and humidity will be back for the weekend. But – will showers return as well?
OK, we got the rain out of our system. Now for a nice stretch.

The average temperature last month was 74.0 degrees. That is 3.2 degrees warmer than normal. “That makes it the seventh warmest July since 1845,” according to Bill Gregway, local observer for the National Weather Service. “Last July wound up number six; it was 74.1.”
August has been rain-free. But, all that could change later today.
July ended with a dry spell and so far, August is following suit.

Harborfest was rain-free Thursday night. Saturday and Sunday look nice. It’s today that is a bit “iffy.”
There wasn’t any rain yesterday. Let’s hope it’s a dry Harborfest this weekend.
