FULTON, NY – Thanks to the support we received from community members, and area businesses our inaugural CYO Rock the Rim for Youth Basketball Tournament was a success.
The event raised some much needed funds for our CYO program that provides a wide variety of recreational and educational activities for our youth.
With the recent budget cuts we are experiencing the CYO program is in jeopardy.
The community support we receive is more important than ever to the continuance of this vital youth program.
I extend a gracious thank you to all those who helped make this event a success including our main sponsors, Fulton Savings Bank, The Medicine Place and Pizza Hut as well as the city of Fulton, Barry Ostrander, B & T Sports, Sean Broderick, Jerry Schremp and Mike Lavner.
Also, our referees, Dan Cunningham, Bob Connolly Sr., Jon Bletch, Bob Connolly Jr., Dennis Perkins and Gary Bartlett, Syracuse University and SU basketball players, Mookie Jones, Kris Joseph and Brandon Reese, and of course, our board of directors, those who attended the event, the teams who participated, our volunteers and participating staff members.
