From: Jeanne Unger, Executive Director, Farnham Family Services
OSWEGO, NY – A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our recent Farnham Unplugged: Rock The Arts event a huge success!
The evening, which included live entertainment, a silent art auction, food and friends, was truly one to remember.
This was only made possible by the various members of the community who supported our endeavor.
The musicians N. Riley Heagerty, Joanna (Nix) Jewett, Gypsy Red, Dave Wolever and John Bletch and the Predators all donated their musical talents to provide an evening of musical entertainment.
We had more than 70 art items of various mediums, donated by local artisans, with a retail value of more than $8,000.
Our local sponsors, led by our 2 HOPE sponsors, Alliance Bank and Pathfinder Bank, and various ENCOURAGEMENT sponsors including Oswego County Federal Credit Union, Empower Federal Credit Union, Nucor Steel, NRG Energy, Shapiro Motors, Step One Creative, David and Mary Roman, Darcy, Mark, Denise and Kendra Smith, and David Mirabito, helped us have such a successful event through their continued advocacy and donations to our mission.
Thank you to A&J Music, Oswego Printing Company, and Ken Riester for their help and talents with the event.
Finally, our gratitude goes out to the community members that attended, shared in the evening activities with us, and supported our silent art auction.
Through all of your various levels of support, Farnham Family Services raised nearly $15,000 to help our school based prevention counseling programs, which reach thousands of Oswego County students every year.
Our community has never failed to support those in need, and still remains supportive even during these difficult economic times.
We are deeply grateful for your recognition and support of Farnham’s mission to address alcohol and drug abuse in our community.
