Thanks For Supporting The River’s Edge Craft Show

To The Editor:
On behalf of the Oswego Lions Club and the River’s Edge Craft Show Committee, we would like to thank all of the vendors and those people that came out to support our club by attending the craft show on June 10.

We extend a big thank you to the city Of Oswego, the Community Development Office for all its help with the organization of the show, the DPW for the help with all our needs at Breitbeck Park, Brian at Oswego Printing and The Oswego Shopper, Oswego County Today.com and Palladium Times for helping to get the word out there.

We would also like to extend special thanks to the Oswego Police Department, Officer Nick Nugent and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Lindsey Bruyere for attending and doing fingerprinting for the kids, and the Oswego Fire Department with its fire dogs, Sparky and the Fire Pup.

They were a big hit!

Thanks also to Performance Fitness for doing demonstrations for all the kids, the Oswego Bookmobile and Backyard Recreations. They were awesome with their Putt Putt Golf.

The Boy Scouts and honor society and Freezing Code students were also a great help unloading and setting up tents for the vendors.

A show this big can’t take place without all our sponsors.

Thank you to Wayne Drug Store, Compass Federal Credit Union, Murphy’s Automotive Solutions, Rudy’s Lakeside Drive Inn, Nelson’s Funeral Home, Novelis, Burritt Motors, Fred’s Used Auto Parts, Oswego Mini Storage/Uhaul, Raby’s Ace Home Center, Burke’s Home Center and Backyard Recreations.

Last, but not least, thank you to all the Lions Club members that helped in any way to make this day a success.

You all make me proud to be a part of this amazing group!

Events like The River’s Edge Craft Show help us to raise money to give back to the community in a “fun” way, and enables us to give back to our community in many other ways, also.

We hope to see you all again at next year’s show!

Thank you,
Chris Pelton, chairperson
Becky O’Kane, co-chairperson
