Thanks to Many for Successful Jazzfest

The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce along with the City of Fulton recently brought Jazz Fest 2010 to our city. It was a huge success and could not have happened without the help of many people. We are very appreciative of all of our sponsors, as without their financial commitment to our event, it would not happen.

Of utmost importance was the help we received from our city workers under the direction of Jerry Schremp and Barry Ostrander. They and their men put in so much time going above and beyond. Our City Police Department gave us their presence both nights which were uneventful and we thank them for that. They met with us throughout the year and assisted us with the planning.

We also want to thank the City of Oswego for allowing us the use of their City Stage as well as Harborfest for once again letting us use their fencing. The food was plentiful and delicious provided this year by Bill Hubel of the Blue Moon Grill; Joe Cortini put together the great musical performances and John McGraw, Uniforms, Etc. provided the T-shirts whose profits from sales will go to Jazz Fest 2011.

Also this year, The Valley News provided us with a JAZZ insert the week of the event which helped immensely to promote our event. Our committee, under the direction of The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, is committed to bringing quality events to the City of Fulton and if we have forgotten anyone, please forgive us. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope to see you in 2011. Thank you for coming to this event and making it the successful event that it was.
