The Art Institutes Visits Oswego County BOCES

Marissa Rivera, above, from The Art Institutes spoke to Career and Technical Education students in the Cosmetology program at Oswego County BOCES about post-secondary educational opportunities at the university. “Get paid to do what you love,” Rivera said to the students when she spoke about the media, fashion, and design programs offered at the nationally renowned institute. For students in the Cosmetology program with aspirations of owning and operating their own salon and/or spa, Rivera’s visit also included discussions about classes at the institute that focus on marketing and advertising design and the benefits of this knowledge for young business professionals.
