The Billionaires to Kick Off Oswego Summer Concert Series

OSWEGO, NY – After a one year hiatus, the Oswego Summer Concert Series is back on a new night with concerts all summer long on the waterfront in Oswego.

summer concert seriesThe Summer Concert Series will start on June 26 and will continue every Friday night until August 21 (with the exception of Harborfest weekend) along the West Riverwalk at Veterans’ Park Stage in Oswego, a stark departure from the historical once a month concerts on Tuesday nights from years past.

The concert series will feature a variety of bands from all over Central New York, food vendors, and direct sale/craft vendors.

Each event kicks off at 5 p.m. with vendors and a DJ dance party, with the bands taking the stage at 6 p.m.

On June 26, The Billionaires, one of the very best and most experienced bands in Central New York, will kick off the concert series.

The Billionaires features both male and female lead vocalists, and a tight rhythm section. The music is expertly performed R&B, soul, ballads, rock & roll and standards.

The band members are experienced musicians, professional, and skilled at entertaining people of all ages. The band will provide excellent sound, good music and a great time.

The concert series is made possible through the support of its primary sponsor, the city of Oswego.

“The city of Oswego is very excited about the changes in the concert series and looks forward to the all of the concerts this summer,” said Mayor Tom Gillen.
