The Oswego Children’s Theater Announces Auditions for a Holiday Twin Bill

The Oswego Children’s Theater will be hosting auditions for a holiday twin bill production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” and “Our Christmas Carol” on Wednesday, October 8 from 6 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, October 9 from 6 p.m. till 8:30 p.m. p.m. at the Mosher Family home located at 151 East Seneca Street, in Oswego.

This auditions are for a mixed cast of children and adults. Cast members will be asked to read from the script. Younger cast members may be asked to recite a favorite nursery rhyme. The play requires a large cast with many individual roles available.

The two shows included in the program include the hilarious “Best Christmas Pageant Ever”, by Barbara Robinson; which tells the story of what happens to the annual church Christmas Pageant when the notorious Herdman Family invades the festivities, and “Our Christmas Carol”, written by Wayne Mosher Jr.; which retells the story of the original “Christmas Carol” with a modern twist.

Wayne and Kelly Mosher will co-direct the production of both plays. The show is slated to be performed on December 5, 6, 12, 13 at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on December 6, 7, 13 & 14 at 2 p.m. at the Frances Marion Brown Theater in Oswego.
