The Oswego Children’s Theater Presents Seussical Jr.


The Oswego Children’s Theater will present “Seussical the Musical Jr.” this August. as the second production of the 2013 season.

The show is a musical comedy based on the classic children’s books by Theodore Geisell otherwise known as Dr. Seuss.

The play was written by Lynn Ahrens, with Music by Stephen Flaherty. The Children’s Theater will be presenting the Jr. version of the show, which is scored for younger voices.

“Seussical” features a large cast and crew of local youth, with a bright, happy, score, colorful costumes, and an easily followed story is sure to enchant audiences of kids and grownups alike

The show is directed by Lyndsie Lee Jones assisted by music director Kenneth C. Jones, Wayne Mosher Jr., assistant director, Kelly Mosher, Flo Ross and Carla Larkin on costume design and Amanda Mosher on makeup design.

“Seussical Jr.” is slated to be performed August 2 and 3, at 7:30 p.m. with matinee performances on August 3 and 4 at 2 p.m. at the New Haven Congregational Church located on Route 104 East between Oswego and Mexico.
