OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers have a long string of accomplishments unmatched by any organization in the history of Oswego.
For more than three decades, thousands of students and parents have dedicated countless hours to promote excellence in music and education.
On Sept. 25, the Oswego High School Marching Band will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of â€œThe Pageant of Champions,â€ New York State Field Band Conference Competition.
This event will take place at the school districtâ€™s Joseph R. Wilber Athletic Field located on Buccaneer Boulevard.
The Pride of Oswego, the Marching Buccaneers, will be host to 12 other marching bands from across the state.
Seven of the 10 bands will be competing in the National Division.
The program will commence at 5:30 p.m.
The gates open at 4 p.m.
Tickets are available at the gate and pre-sale tickets are available from any marching band member, Oswego Band Parent Association and by calling the Oswego High School Music Department at 341-2254.
