Oswego, NY – Andrew’s Wine Cellar will welcome The Soprano Wines, of New York, NY to their next tasting event to be held on Dec. 4 from 5-8 p.m.
Representing The Soprano Wines will be Vincent Pastore of the hit HBO series, The Sopranos. Joining Pastore at the event will be Vanessa Rizzolo-Schwartz from Au Bon Climat Winery, Santa Barbara, California, and Bob Fiore of Heaven Hill Distillery, Bardstown, Kentucky.

The Sopranos Wines was launched in July 2008. Made in Italy, the label features a range of quality selections for every type of wine enthusiast. The distributor for The Sopranos Wines, Duggan’s Distillers, has been importing and distributing fine wines and spirits since 1946.
Since its launch in 2008, many of The Sopranos series stars, including Vincent Pastore, have been representing and promoting The Soprano Wines.
A former bar owner from New Rochelle, New York, Vincent Pastore discovered acting late in life and since then it has become his calling. Besides playing the character, Big Pussy Bonpensiero, on the HBO hit series “The Sopranos”, Pastore has made several television appearances on NBC’s “Ed”, VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club”, “The Practice”, “Witness to the Mob”, “Law & Order”, the Soap Opera, “One Life to Live”, “Americas Most Wanted”, “Vegas” and more recently Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and as host of the Repo Man television series. A versatile actor, Pastore has also appeared on Broadway in the smash hit, “Chicago” as Amos Hart, as well as several hit movies including “Goodfellas”, “Revolver”, “Gotti”, “Mickey Blue Eyes”, “Mafia”, “The Jerky Boys”, “Made” and “Hurricane”, just to name a few.
Founded in 1982, Au Bon Climat (which means “a well-exposed vineyard”) is located on the world-famous Bien Nacido Vineyard. Au Bon Climat produces many internationally-recognized wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. Owned by winemaker Jim Clendenen, Au Bon Climat was listed on Robert Parker’s Best Wineries of the World in both 1989 and 1990. Clendenen was named Winemaker of the Year in 1992 by the Los Angeles Times, and Winemaker of the Year in 2001 by Food and Wine Magazine.
Heaven Hill Distilleries was founded in Bardstown, Kentucky by the Shapiro family, shortly after Prohibition ended in the United States. They produce and market premium bourbon and American whiskeys. Today, Heaven Hill Distilleries has grown to become the largest independent, family-owned and operated producer and marketer of distilled spirits in the country. According to industry analysts, Heaven Hill is now the seventh largest spirits supplier in the United States and is the second largest holder of aging Bourbon whiskey in the world with an inventory in excess of 800,000 barrels.
