After being crowned Empire Football League (EFL) champions in their inaugural season, the Syracuse Strong’s season is not over just yet. The Strong have accepted an invitation to play in the USFA Harvest Bowl Tournament for a chance to be considered National Champions.
Syracuse finished their season with a 9-3 record after defeating the Watertown Red and Black in the league title game 14-6.
The EFL champions will face the Oneonta Stallions, the winners of the Northeastern Football Alliance.
If the Strong are able to navigate their way through this regional tournament without a loss, the USFA will host Syracuse and all the regional tournament winners in January to play in National Bowl Weekend in Florida.
Syracuse will host Oneonta in the first round of the tournament on Saturday, November 7th, at 7 p.m. at Nottingham High School. Come show your support for the Strong.
