The Tug Hill Players Return to Mexico, NY

The Tug Hill Players.
The Tug Hill Players.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 12, at 2:00pm, as you will not want to miss the Tug Hill Players when they return to perform in Mexico.

When this eclectic group of musicians gave a concert at the Mexico First United Methodist Church in 2010, the church was full, toes were tapping, hands were clapping, and hearts were singing.

The music they share is wide-ranging, blending Celtic, bluegrass, country, Appalachian, folk, Scottish and it is presented by way of standup bass, harp, accordion, guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, electronic wind instrument, clarinet, keyboards, clavietta, melodica, xylophone, conga, djembe, bodhran, chimes, and vocals.

This is all crowned with dance by the youngest member of the group (not in photo) who steals the show with an Irish jig.

The 2pm performance will once again be held at the Mexico First United Methodist Church, Route 69, Mexico. The suggested donation is $5.00. All proceeds go toward the church handicapped elevator fund.
