Thelma J. Allen

Thelma J. Allen, a resident of Van Buren St, Fulton, passed away January 3, 2012, at home.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Elmetta (Wallace) Van Buren.

Thelma worked for many years as a cashier at Babcock’s Oil Company in Fulton.

She enjoyed music, arts and crafts, jewelry, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her two sons, Arron Van Buren of Fulton and Damion Van Buren of Oswego; three brothers, Mike (Rita) Van Buren of Volney and Jim (Dee) Van Buren of Oswego; Jim Bogardus of Oswego; one sister, Rosemond Lamb of Oswego; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Bob Van Buren; and two sisters, Susan Ann Van Buren and Donna Lee Van Buren.

Funeral Services and burial will be held privately.
