Fulton, NY- The CYO Summer Recreation Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County concluded with the program’s third and final theme day. Participants in the program enjoyed a full day of carnival themed games and activities including the highlight of the day, the use of an Air Hop of Air Hop Inflatables.

“Our theme days are always a big hit,” said Coordinator of the CYO Program, Jim Smiley. “Carnival Day along with our other theme days, Pirate Day and Halloween Day, were our most well attended days of the program with more than 300 children from throughout Oswego County taking part in those days.”

The special theme days, which are made possible through a mini-grant from the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, were a special treat for the students as they included entertainment, games, movies, snacks, and a piñata reflective of that day’s theme. “We are appreciative of the grant we received from the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. We would not be able to offer these theme days without it. They were an excellent addition to our Summer Recreation Program and the children really enjoyed them,” added Smiley.
