Thursday’s Weather: Cold, Not Much Snow

The storm that stalled over Oswego County brought five inches of new snow to the Oswego area, according to one National Weather Service spotter.

The storm produced more than a foot of snow farther inland, in Oneida County’s communities of Camden and Florence.

The good news is that we get today to shovel out.  Only scattered flurries are in the forecast.

Here’s the forecast:

Today…Snow showers likely this morning over the western half of the county…becoming scattered and ending this afternoon. Otherwise partly sunny. Accumulation an inch or less. Highs around 15. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Tonight…Partly cloudy. Lows 5 to 10 above. Northwest winds 10 mph or less.

Friday…Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 20s. Light winds.

Friday night…Partly cloudy. Lows 5 to 15 above. East winds 10 mph or less.

Saturday…Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 20s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
