SCRIBA, NY – Tickets are now available for the 11th Annual Jamboree Fundraiser to benefit Parents of Special Children, Inc.
The event will be held on June 10 from noon until 4 :00 p.m. at the Scriba Fire Department.
The family event, which will include a spaghetti dinner, live entertainment by Bloodline, door prizes, 50/50 raffles, games and crafts for kids, is organized by the Parents of Special Children staff and board members.
Parents of Special Children is a 24-year old not-for-profit community agency that provides supportive services to families raising children and adults with disabilities.
Services include respite care, caregiver reimbursement; assistance with special requests, advocacy.
The agency has organized and hosts a local group of parents of children with Autism called Connections.
The agency is supported by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities.
The jamboree fundraiser is the major fundraiser for the agency each year.
“The jamboree each year has greatly impacted the lives of parents and children served by our agency,” said program coordinator Marie Smith.
Advance sale tickets can be purchased for $10 each by calling the Parents of Special Children Inc. office at 598-7672.
Dine in or take-out is available.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $12 each.
