Tickets On Sale For OCO’s Rootin’-Tootin’ Raffle

FULTON, NY – Here’s an opportunity to help people in crisis and have a chance to win prizes that promise to provide some rootin’-tootin’ good times.

Oswego County Opportunities is holding a “Rootin’-Tootin’ Raffle” with three exciting prizes, and the name helps describe them.

First prize is a rodeo package that includes four tickets to the Attica Rodeo Association’s 58th annual Rodeo August 8 and 9.

Package includes hotel stay and gift cards for meals, gas, etc.

Second prize is a two-night getaway at River Edge Mansion, the historic bed and breakfast on the Erie Canal near Syracuse.

Third prize is a “Restaurant Roundup” featuring gift certificates to four fine restaurants in Oswego County, along with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses.

Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

Only 300 tickets will be sold.

They are available at the OCO main office, 239 Oneida St., Fulton, and at the Midtown Plaza Office, lower level (next to Jo-Ann Fabrics), Oswego, during regular office hours.

Drawing for all prizes will take place at noon on June 5, at the OCO main office.

After the first and second prize drawings, the winning tickets are returned to the hat for the next prize drawing.

Winners will be notified by phone and/or email to claim their prize.

Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

“There is a real need to help people in crisis,” said OCO Executive Director Diane Cooper-Currier said. “In fact, our focus for 2015 is combating the ‘crisis in our backyard.’ Crisis experiences are closer than you might think, and they come in many forms. OCO helps through providing more than 50 programs and services that range from prenatal care to home-delivered meals for senior citizens.”
