The Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) at Granby Elementary School hosted a fundraising golf tournament last Saturday at Battle Island Golf Course in Fulton.

With the rain holding off for most of the tournament, 18 teams battled through 18 holes of captain and crew golf to claim top honor and bragging rights for the school’s first ever fundraising tournament.

Ending up at 14 under par was the Bartlett/Greer four-person team.

Funds raised from the tournament will go towards the PTG’s current playground project at Granby Elementary School.

For more information about the playground project, please contact Granby Elementary School at (315) 593-5480.
