Trinity Catholic School’s open house will be from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11th at 115 East 5th Street in Oswego. This open house is for members of the community who are interested in enrolling their children or are simply learning more about Trinity. The evening will include an information session, school tours, and opportunities to speak with parents of current Trinity Catholic students about the various programs Trinity has to offer. Trinity is a parochial school serving the needs of students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. Before– and after– care programs are available for 3 and 4 year olds as well as for students in grades K-6. Students, including pre-school students, at Trinity Catholic participate in Art, Music, Library and Physical Education classes on a weekly basis. In grades 3, 4, 5, and 6, Spanish and French classes are offered as well. Beginning in fourth grade, students are able to select instruments and play in the school’s band program.
Trinity Catholic School aims to meet the child’s needs by teaching at his/her level of ability and by setting the highest possible intellectual standards. There are many ways in which Trinity is able to meet this goal. It boasts small class sizes and committed teaching staff. Trinity has an excellent remedial reading program for those that need it. The students at Trinity Catholic are able to participate in many challenging activities, including the Rite-Aid Drug Quiz Show, Battle of the Books, and the annual Science Fair
and Invention Convention, as well as in various community service activities.
