Trio Charged With Felonies Following Harassment Incident

OSWEGO, NY – Three men are in jail after they allegedly harassed a town of Schroeppel resident.

On 2/09/13 at 6:18 p.m., Mathew S. Orman, 29, of 442 CR 54, Pennellville, was arrested for Burglary, First Degree, a class B felony; Criminal Mischief, Second Degree, a class D felony; and Conspiracy, Fourth Degree, a class E felony.

Dwight L. Orman, 40, of 66 Volney St., Phoenix, was arrested for Burglary, First Degree, a class B felony; Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Second Degree, a class C felony; Criminal Mischief, Second Degree, a class D felony; and Conspiracy, Fourth Degree, a class E felony.

Joseph E. Bartlett, 21, of 442 CR 54, Pennellville, was arrested for Conspiracy, Fourth Degree, a class E felony.

The three men were arrested stemming from their participation in an illegal entry to a town of Schroeppel residence that evening.

Reportedly, upon arrival Dwight Orman fired a shotgun into the air outside of the residence before he and Mathew entered, first breaking a window in a door, then once inside causing damage to kitchen cabinets, all in an attempt to harass the resident.

All were arraigned before Town of Schroeppel Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or bond.

They are each scheduled to return to court on 2/13/13.

Assisting in the investigation were members of the NYS Police and Phoenix Police Department.
