Two 10th Mountain Division soldiers with ties to Oswego County were in Albany recently, taking part in “10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum Day;” an effort sponsored by Senator Patty Ritchie to increase awareness of Fort Drum and the vital role it plays in the nation’s defense and upstate economy.

10th Mountain Division Captain Lisa Kirby is from Pulaski and Lt. Col. Robert Shexnayder  has family in Hannibal.

Both are part of an advance team that helped prepare for Major General Mark Milley’s visit to the Capitol for the event.
