Truckers Appreciation Night At Fulton Speedway This Saturday, August 1st Presented By Canale Insurance


FULTON, NY…It will be Trucker’s Appreciation Night this Saturday, August 1 at Fulton Speedway. All C.D.L. License Card holders will be granted free grandstand admission. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators will all be in race competition on Canale Insurance Night. The great evening of family entertainment Where Today’s Legends Race Today will start at 7 p.m. sharp.

Billy Decker is the current DIRTcar Big Block Modified point leader at Fulton Speedway behind three feature race wins. Ryan Phelps, Alan Johnson, Dale Planck and Jimmy Phelps complete the top five in the rankings. Young New Jersey speedster Michael Storms is currently sixth in the standings with Pat ward, Jim Witko, Larry Wight, Tim Sears, Billy Dunn, Mike Mahaney, Eric Fisher, Tom Sears and Mike Bowman following in the top-15 in the strongest field of DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds in the northeast.

Tim Sears Jr. and John Pietrowicz are battling it out for the top spot in the DIRTcar Sportsman standings. Jordan Bennett, Billy Clark and Jeremy Pitcher follow in the top five. Action in the DIRTcar Street Stock class has been hotly contested with multiple winners in the popular class. Jon Shumway leads Matthew Parkhurst, Joe Kline and Mark Johnston in the up to date E&V Energy Novice Sportsman point standings. Bruce Unger is the leader in the Gladiator standings and will look for two victories this Saturday night which was set-up by the rain delayed event from July 25.

Fulton Speedway gates on Saturday, August 1 will open at 5 p.m. Race competition on Canale Insurance Truckers Appreciation Night will start at 7 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.fultonspeedway.com. The track office number is 315-593-6531 with the race line reached at 668-RACE. The track is located on Route 57 jus south of the city limits. Free parking and overnight camping will be offered.
