The Center for Career and Community Education has announced it will hold two open houses for adults and prospective students to attend and learn more about the adult training programs offered at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation.
During the open houses, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the teachers, tour the classrooms and speak with representatives about financial aid and enrollment.
The open houses will be held on September 16 and 24 at two separate times, 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. to showcase the two locations where the classes are held.
The first time, 1 to 3 p.m., will be held at the CiTi Fulton location, 806 W. Broadway, Fulton, where the health occupation programs are offered. Classes include: Practical Nursing, Certified Nurse Assistant, Dental Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant and Infection Control Update.
The second time, from 5 to 7 p.m., will be held at the CiTi Mexico campus, 179 County Route 64, Mexico, and will showcase the trades and technology programs. These classes include: Auto Tech Services, HVAC, Welding, Heavy Equipment, CDL-A and CDL-B.
Refreshments will be available and representatives from the Adult Education Department will be on hand to talk with those interested in learning more about the programs offered at CiTi through the CCCE.
The public is invited to attend to learn more about the programs and training opportunities that are available through the CCCE.
Catalogs and handouts with additional information on each program will be available for visitors to the open house to take home.
The Center for Career and Community Education is a collaborative partnership between the Adult Education Department at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation and Cayuga Community College.
