Hazardous Weather Outlook

The high wind warning is in effect until 5 p.m. today (Oct. 30)

A lakeshore flood warning is in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday for Oswego and Cayuga counties.

Strongest winds expected near the Lake Ontario shore.
TIMING: Through late this afternoon.
WINDS: West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

LAKE SHORE FLOODING:

Very strong northwest winds becoming westerly today.
The winds and building wave action will combine with above normal lake levels to increase shoreline erosion and lakeshore flooding in bays and inlets.

TIMING: Through early Tuesday evening.
