OSWEGO COUNTY – The Mexico girls volleyball program’s annual Dig Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Game was a tremendous success, raising $1,100 to support breast cancer research and awareness initiatives during a match in early October.
Fans, families, and community members filled the gym in support of the cause, participating in themed basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing — with the winner generously donating their prize back to the fundraiser.
“We’re so proud of our athletes and so grateful to everyone who helped make this event meaningful and impactful,” said Lindsay Babbitt, Mexico varsity girls volleyball head coach. “Together, we’re making a difference — one serve at a time.”
