FULTON, NY – If you’re 60 and over and are in need of a ride to the polls on Nov. 3, contact OCO Transportation and make an appointment with OCO’s Call-N-Ride Service by calling 598-1514.

Rides can be provided on Election Day between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
“We will be taking reservations for rides to polling places in the city of Fulton now through Oct. 30,” said Gary Mashaw, director of OCO Transportation Services. “For passengers who are 60 and over, there is no charge for this service. But we are accepting donations”
For persons under the age of 60, there is a fee of $2.
Call-N-Ride is a low-cost/no-cost transport service that allows the elderly, and persons with visual impairments and other disabilities live more independently by making arrangements to run errands, visit family or friends, go to medical appointments, and so forth.
This service is available throughout Oswego County and is scheduled by appointment on the specific days that Call-N-Ride is provided in each of the county’s nine school districts.
“The Election Day service is a special addition for OCO in collaboration with Centro Bus Service that serves the city of Fulton,” Mashaw said. “We hope that Fulton residents in need of rides will take advantage of this, so that they can get out and exercise their right to vote.”
Call-N-Ride is supported in part through a grant provided by Exelon and the Oswego County Office for the Aging.
Other supporters include the Vision Network of Oswego County and private donors.
