Phoenix Man Sentenced for Fatal Stabbing

OSWEGO, NY – The Phoenix man that fatally stabbed a Fulton man at a house party in October 2015 was sentenced today (June 28) in Oswego County Court.

As previously agreed in a plea deal, Markee L. Cathcart was sentenced by Honorable Judge Donald Todd to a sentence certain of 3 years minimum to 9 years maximum in state prison.

Due to the nature of the agreement, Catchart is able to serve no less than three years and no more than nine years without the opportunity for an appeal at any point.
