Simon: Pet of the Week

OSWEGO – Simon here is a goofball with a dream of a big family. He loves interacting with other cats and gets along great with children of all ages. We do not know his opinion of dogs.

For a cat that looks like a panther, this one has absolutely no stealth about him. He is a toy aficionado. He loves to play with crumbled paper, feather wands, jingle balls, pipe cleaners—if he can bat it around, it’s a toy! Most of the time, Simon even provides his own running commentary too. He is very chatty and makes some sort of noise almost any time he moves a muscle. He’s a bird-watcher too and likes telling you everything a bird ever does.

He is a big-time scratcher and loves to dig him claws into carpets. We recommend an outdoor rug that can withstand the wear and tear because cardboard scratchers just don’t satisfy Simon.

Simon is about 1 year old, neutered and vaccinated. He is an indoor only cat and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $75.
