The Leadership & Commitment Award is given annually to a company or organization that are leaders in educating their employees on the needs of the community and inspiring them to support their local United Way campaign.

“Constellation once again proved to be one of the most generous supporters of the United Way’s annual campaign, raising more than $166,000. They instill leadership giving with strong support at the corporate level. When Constellation employees learn about the need in Oswego County, they respond,” said Jonathan Daniels, chair of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Campaign Cabinet.

“For the past 20 years, through the generosity of Nine Mile Point employees, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group has consistently ranked as one of the top United Way corporate campaigns in Oswego County and our leadership contributors play a major role in this achievement,” said Steve Doty, maintenance manager and campaign co-chair at CENG’s Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station.  “It is a privilege to work with a group of individuals who year after year demonstrate their extraordinary concern and dedication for creating a better life for our families, neighbors and friends.”
