The Novelis campaign team was recognized for its role in coordinating the Novelis employee campaign in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Presented annually, the Company Campaign Team of the Year Award is given to the volunteers whose extraordinary commitment, energy, enthusiasm and talent contribute to the success of their company’s campaign.

“Mike Anthony served as campaign coordinator. Dick Delaney was a member of the United Way’s Campaign Cabinet. And Dave Lloyd did an excellent job as chairperson of the United Way’s 2009 Golf Tournament.  The spirit of volunteerism displayed by Novelis employees for the United Way has been exceptional and reflects a deep commitment to our community,” said Jonathan Daniels, chair of the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Campaign Cabinet.

Anthony was honored to serve as campaign coordinator of Novelis’ employee campaign and was pleased to accept the award on behalf of his team and co-workers.

“Novelis faced a very challenging year last year, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the spirit and the passion of our workforce for supporting the community. Once again we raised more than $120,000 for the United Way,” he said.
