FULTON, NY – The United Way of Greater Oswego County has announced that it is in the planning stages for the distribution of funding that it has received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The funding, which can used for food, rent assistance, and utility assistance, is available to 501c3, not-for-profit agencies.
Those interested in applying for FEMA funding must submit requests to the United Way of Greater Oswego County prior to Feb. 2.
Executive Director of the United Way Melanie Trexler said that the local FEMA board would be meeting at 9 a.m. on Feb. 2 at the United Way office, 1 S. First St., to review all requests.
