University Police Makes Felony Arrest

OSWEGO TOWN – University Police at SUNY Oswego arrested Adam M. Osarczuk, 21, of Riverhead, on multiple charges including fourth-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony.

In addition, University Police charged the former SUNY Oswego student with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; criminal possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and third-degree criminal trespass, also a class B misdemeanor.

Police arrested him early this morning Friday, Oct. 5, in Parking Lot 80 outside the Village townhouses.

Osarczuk was arraigned today before Oswego Town Justice Michael Sterio and was subsequently remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bail bond.

He is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 15 to answer the charges.
