Vehicle-Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident Update

OSWEGO, NY – On June 20, at about 9:36 p.m., the Oswego Police Department along with the Oswego Fire Department responded to the area of State Route 104 and George Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Brandon Shoults, 31, of Oswego, left the sidewalk and ran into the road in front of a moving vehicle, according to city police.

The vehicle struck Shoults, sending him over the top of the vehicle and causing multiple injuries.

Shoults was airlifted to Upstate hospital where the hospital staff was able to stabilize him.

Shoults is still considered to be in critical condition, police said Monday.

No tickets have been issued and the investigation is still pending.
