VFW 369 Ladies Auxillary Seeks Vendors

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 369, Mexico, is seeking vendors to participate in the first Fall Fiesta Craft Show Sept. 14-15.

The two-day event will take place at the VFW Post located at 5930 Scenic Ave, Mexico from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 and from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.

There will be handmade arts and crafts, Farmers’ market, bake sale, 50/50 raffles, pancake breakfast on both day, chicken BBQ on Saturday, lunch and a scarecrow contest.

The VFW Ladies Auxiliary was founded upon the principle of “Honoring the dead by helping the living.”

Through community fundraising events like this, the auxiliary is able to, not only raise money, but also improve community awareness of the programs that are supported through the efforts of the membership.

Currently the ladies are actively supporting and supplying with personal care needs hospitalized veterans at the VAMC in Syracuse, sending care packages to deployed troops through the Adopt-a-Unit program, supporting the programs of the National Military Services, the American Cancer Society and many other programs that support current military members and those veterans that have served for their country.

Information to become a vendor can be found at www.vfwpost369.com/ladiesaux or by calling (315)298-6869.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 1.
