FULTON, NY – Viola G. Hubbard Souva, 84, a resident of Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012.
She was born in Champion, NY, to the late Clinton and Charlotte (Odett) Hubbard.
Mrs. Souva was past employed with Will Baumer Candle Company, Liverpool, NY.
She enjoyed being a foster care mom.
Mrs. Souva was pre-deceased by her husband, Norman, in 2001; one sister; and four brothers.
She is survived by her six children: James (Patricia) Souva of New Haven, NY, Linda (Delbert) Stewart of Frederic, MI, Dennis Souva of North Syracuse, NY, Thomas (Beatrice) Souva of Oswego, NY; Debra (Peter) Tierno of Gaylord, MI and Lisa (Mark) Hoyt of Fulton, NY; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great- great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday at Sugar Funeral Home, with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating.
Burial will be held privately at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
