Original fines of $30 remain the same for miscellaneous parking infractions including, but not limited to; Blocking a Sidewalk, No Parking, Green-space Violations, and Trespass Parking, but the fine will now increase to $60 if not paid after 30 days of issuance.
According to Police Chief Michael Dehm Jr. “We understand that, in these times of economic uncertainty, any increase in fines or penalties may seem excessive. We wish to assure the public that our goal isn’t to increase revenue, or to put an additional burden on the already struggling citizen, but rather to encourage voluntary compliance with the regulations, and prompt payment of the fines.â€ÂÂ
