Arlene Johnson, volunteer coordinator at the O’Mara Welcome Center in Oswego, received a commendation from the Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee in appreciation of her service to the community.
Johnson has been involved with the welcome center as an RSVP volunteer for the past ten years, the last five years as volunteer coordinator.
She was also presented an Oswego County Tourism Ambassador Award from David Turner, director of the County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.
