OSWEGO, NY – With the holiday season upon us, live racing action may be suspended at several locations across the country, but thanks to Suzuki presents Speed Sport on MAVTV, Oswego Speedway will once again roar to life in the comfort of your own home through the month of January.

A total of four one-hour events from Oswego, NY’s ‘Steel Palace’ will re-air on Suzuki presents Speed Sport and MAVTV from Christmas Eve through the end of January, beginning with the Speedway’s 65th Anniversary celebration featuring the Novelis Supermodifieds.

This first set of one hour broadcasts will air on Thursday, December 24 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., culminating with a 45-lap anniversary main event for Oswego’s 800+ horsepower Supermodifieds, which have been the highlight of Oswego’s Port City oval since 1961.

Two weeks later Oswego will return to national airwaves, this time featuring the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Classic presented by Dunleavy’s Truck and Trailer Repair on January 7 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The following Thursday will be highlighted by the 29th annual $10,000 to win Mr. Novelis Supermodified. This 75-lap Supermodified thriller came to a dramatic conclusion, which you can relive on January 14 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Speedway’s winter stretch on Suzuki presents Speed Sport on MAVTV will draw to a close on January 28 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the running of the ISMA Supermodified Bud Light Super Nationals.

Each broadcast will be led in the analyst’s booth by motorsports broadcasting veterans Ralph Sheheen and Derek Pernesiglio.

Oswego Speedway Public Relations Director and former Novelis Supermodified driver Dan Kapuscinski, who finished 5th in the 2006 edition of the International Classic, will provide insight and reports from pit lane.
