As of 6 a.m. Jan. 6, the city of Fulton has lifted the travel advisory which began at 2 p.m. January 5.

OSWEGO COUNTY – INCLUDING THE CITY OF OSWEGO
700 AM EST TUE JAN 6 2015

LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 10 AM EST WEDNESDAY.

WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM WEDNESDAY TO 10 AM EST THURSDAY.

LOCATIONS: OSWEGO COUNTY.

TIMING: FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING AND FROM 10 AM WEDNESDAY TO 10 AM THURSDAY FOR THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY.

ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 10 INCHES TONIGHT AND 3 TO 5 INCHES WEDNESDAY MORNING LEADING TO STORM TOTALS OF 8 TO 15 INCHES.

WINDS: WEST 15 TO 25 MPH.

WINDCHILL VALUES: AVERAGING AS LOW AS 20 BELOW ZERO.

VISIBILITIES: AS LOW AS A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.

IMPACTS: LAKE SNOWS WILL REDEVELOP TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.
THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL GREATLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES AND RESULT IN SNOW-COVERED ROADWAYS, RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

LATER WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING – BITTERLY COLD
WINDCHILLS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN.
