Weather Notebook For February 3, 2014

According to Fulton’s weather observer, the area received 0.03-inch of precipitation on February 2.

The monthly total is 0.23-inch.

With the initial start of our winter being mild, more bluebirds may have remained in our area. Eastern Bluebirds are considered partial migrants. Scientist believe a certain percentage of them aren’t genetically programmed to fly south in the winter.

The total for the year is 2.81 inches.

Fulton received no snow on February 2.

Total snowfall for the month is 0.8-inch.

For the winter the total stands at 98.7 inches.

Partly cloudy tonight. Low 15 – 20.

Some morning sunshine Tuesday giving way to afternoon clouds. High in the upper 20s.
